On August 16, 2023, the Thirteenth Judicial District Drug Task Force along with Columbia County Sheriff's Office conducted a marijuana eradication operation in Columbia County. If you saw helicopters flying over your area, this is why. This is a normal procedure looking for marijuana growth in our region. The operation yielded twenty-three plants from our county.
