Summer is Over!

Some area schools will begin their 2024-2025 school year tomorrow, with others starting in August. This means school bus pickup and drop off, along with additional traffic in the mornings and afternoons.

Here are some safety tips for the school year:

• Please wear your seat belt.
• Don't drive distracted!
• Don't try to pass a school bus that has lights blinking with the red STOP sign out. There are children getting on or off this bus. Citations will be issued if you are caught passing a stopped school bus.
• Be mindful of school zones on your drive in the mornings and afternoons.
