Between February 21 and April 8, 2021, Columbia County Sheriff's Office has received several reports of catalytic converters being stolen from church vans in our communities. If you have a church van that is not used on a regular basis, please check it to make sure that everything is in proper working order. It is our suggestion that you secure your van in a safe place where it is not easily accessible by the public. If your catalytic converter has been stolen from your van, please call Central Dispatch at (870) 234-5655 to report the theft.
