Happy Fall

Fall is in the air, and temperatures are also starting to fall. Now is the time to check and repair water leaks on the outside of your home and prepare your heaters. It is also advisable to check your gas lines if you only use gas for heat. Electric heaters should be plugged straight into the wall and not into a surge protector or a plug-in extender, and don't put your heater near anything flammable. Make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors have fresh batteries to last you through the winter season. Start getting supplies to cover your outside faucets, winterize your pipes, and get your home winter ready. Check on your elderly neighbors, friends, and family, and make sure they have the supplies they need for their fall and winter needs.
