Sheriff Mike Loe would like to warn citizens about another scam stating to be affiliated with the Publisher’s Clearing House out of Texarkana, Arkansas. The phone number associated with this scam is 876-531-3942. The scammer describes all your winnings, including money and a vehicle. The scammer asks that you call 876-412-3372 and speak with Mr. Malone at extension 5. Mr. Malone asks you personal questions about your age and if you live alone or are presently alone. Mr. Malone also stated that before you can receive your prize money that you must go get a $1,000 money order, call them, and they will meet you in the Fred’s parking lot. Please be cautious when giving personal information over the phone, or going to get money orders in exchange for prize winnings. These situations could be unsafe in many ways, including meeting someone in the Fred’s parking lot.
