Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is participating in “Click it or Ticket.” The national “Click it or Ticket” campaign will be May 19 – June 1. During this campaign, law enforcement officers will be conducting checkpoints and ensuring everyone is wearing their seatbelts. Being in a moving vehicle without wearing your seatbelt is punishable by a fine of $70.00.
Arkansas is one of thirty-three states that requires drivers to wear their seatbelts.
