Unrelated Drug Arrests 12/13-12/17/2013

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police have made a few unrelated drug arrests within the last five days.

On Friday, December 13, 2013, Scotty May, 43 of Magnolia, was arrested at a local carwash in Magnolia, Arkansas. May did not have a valid driver’s license, so he was arrested. While inventorying the vehicle, deputies found numerous pills and pipes. May has been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance (Schedule II) and Possession of Controlled Substance (Schedule III). May was charged with numerous misdemeanor traffic violations also. His first appearance was December 14, 2013, and his bond was set at $5,000.

On December 16, 2013, Gayla Henry, 46 of Magnolia, was arrested by the Arkansas State Police on Hwy 160 in Magnolia. She was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamines) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Her first appearance was December 17, 2013, and her bond was set at $5,000. Henry also has numerous misdemeanor charges.

On December 17, 2013, Brandon Welsh, 40 of Magnolia, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamines) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after deputies found him parked behind a cemetery on Columbia Road 13. Welsh’s first appearance was December 17, 2013, and his bond was set at $5,000.
